Its time to dust of your walking shoes and set aside Sunday September 9 for the annual Bloody Long Walk in Sydney’s northern beaches. By doing so you’ll also be raising much needed funds to help find a cure for Mitochondrial disease (mito). This disease is terminal; there is no cure and few effective treatments. So walk, run or jog 35km and lets help cure mito.
Did we mention this Bloody Long Walk is bloody long? 35 kilometres from Sydney’s Palm Beach to Manly. Along the way you’ll take in the breathtaking scenery of ocean lookouts, national parks, dramatic clifftops and iconic city views.
To get involved you can choose to walk yourself, volunteer for the day and help make a difference at the event. Sponsor a walker or just donate some dosh.
