Visit the Victorian High Country

When you think of Victoria’s High Country, you probably have in mind, snow, alpine landscapes and locations like Mount Buller, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek. And yes, you’d be correct! But there is much more to this region and just winter past-times. Although excellent skiing and snowboarding awaits you during winter, we’d like you to know that the Victorian High Country also offers some amazing outdoor opportunities such as mountain biking, horse riding and hiking on the high plains. Rock climbing and abseiling, river rafting and fabulous freshwater fishing on the such rivers as the Delatite, Jamieson and Howqua also await you. Of course nothing beats an early morning start and a gentle hot air balloon flight over the farmlands around the Mansfield area, with the famous snowy mountains in the background.
