Spend a day with photographer and tour guide Kenneth Hall as he takes you on a photographic journey along the southern coastline south of Sydney to the beautiful harbour and small fishing fleet at Wollongong, in the Illawarra. Ken will not only show you wonderful landscapes and seascapes, he’ll teach you how to photograph these images.

Sydney Photographic Workshops + Sightseeing Tour

The sea and cliffs of the Royal National Park present the photographer or tourist with opportunities for stunning sightseeing, landscape and seascape photography along the Northern Illawarra’s South Pacific Oceans coastline. This ancient coastline was created from a from a sea bed raised by a string of volcanoes 240 million years ago. Erosion from the element has left us with a smrgasbord of incredible shapes, colour and texture. This tour operates most months. Maximum of 6 participants. Inclusions

Tour Duration:

  • Approx. 7 hours

What to Bring:

  • Sun cream; Sun glasses
  • Personal insect repellent
  • Personal toiletries
  • Money / credit card for personal shopping, lunches etc
  • Sturdy comfortable walking shoes with good grip,
  • Raincoat and small folding umbrella
  • A beanie, gloves, thermal underwear for cold weather

  • Telephoto lens if available
  • Memory cards (1500 – 2000 images)

Cancellations Our tours operate unless unless there is a severe weather warning for the specific tour location. Eg.

  • High temperatures during bush fire conditions.
  • High winds
  • Extreme temperatures which can cause dehydration
  • Bush fire or flood warnings in the locality of the tour
  • Local bush fire brigade back burning

Under these circumstances other tour locations will be offered if possible or an alternative date recommended. Personal Fitness level

  • Most workshop locations are accessed directly from vehicle with the most distant being 600 metres from car parking areas to cliff tops when whale watching.
