Spend a day on the Mersey River, near Devonport Tasmania, in a heart pounding white water rafting experience. Mersey River offers challenging rapids over a ninety-minute section of water located around 85 kilometres south of Devonport. A great river to raft on the way to Cradle Mountain, the Mersey allows groups to try their hand at steering their own raft down the course.
The Mersey River is Hydro-released water, which means it is the most reliable white-water course in the state.

The Mersey River is located around 85 kilometres south of Devonport. The Mersey River is Hydro-released water, which means it is the most reliable white-water course in the state.
DURATION: This trip usually requires a full day. The day starts around 10:30am, and each trip down the course takes around ninety minutes.
NUMBERS ON THE DAY:
1–70 people – we need a minimum of 4 people to book a trip, but individuals and smaller groups are welcome to join existing trips.

EXTRAS: We can provide transport to and from Hobart for $10 per person. Lunch can be arranged at the site for between $5 and $40 per person, ranging from salad rolls and fruit to gourmet Tasmanian produce.
This is available all year around, however at certain times of the year Hydro Tasmania are unable to release water for us.
