The "Combo" Scenic Joy Flight & Aerobatic Experience

First we begin your flight with either the “Smithy” or the “Cliffy” scenic joy flight and on the way back enjoy the full “Stunt Pilot” experience. We’ll put you through the full aerobatic just off North Beach, Wollongong where all the people on the beach can watch you looping and barrel rolling across the sky!

This is 75 minutes of amazing scenic sights along the Illawara coast followed by some knuckle whitening G forces on this ultimate roller coaster ride. An aerobatic experience in our fully restored WWII Boeing Stearman Biplaneas it barrel rolls, stall turns, cuban eights, snap rolls and tail spins infront of the crowd just off North Beach, Wollongong.

The Boeing Stearman

The aircraft of choice is a 1943 WWII era fully restored Boeing Stearman aerobatic military trainer. This aircraft has been fully restored to meet all CASA requirements for Standard Charter category. Now known as "Lilly Warra" she is the flagship of the fleet.

The flight is recorded on full HD video which can be purchased on the day.

Flight time is 75 minutes.

SESSION LENGTH

The “Combo” includes 75 minutes in the air but you should allow 85 minutes for the whole experience. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to flight time.

RESTRICTIONS

• Minimum age is 13 years (you must have parental consent to fly if under 18 years old)
• Maximum height is 200cm (please provide height below under options)
• Maximum weight is 120kg (please provide weight below under options)
• Passengers need to be reasonably mobile, please declare any health issues.
• We cannot carry persons affected by drugs or alcohol.

Note: the pilot in command must refuse any passenger who may adversely impact the safe conduct of the flight.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING

• Loose comfortable clothing suitable for the weather on the day
• Soft sole, fully enclosed shoes (joggers are perfect). No hard soles or high heels
• Sunglasses are helpful for glare
• Hair tie if you have long hair

NUMBERS:

You will be one on one with the instructor. Family and friends can watch the flight preparations and take photos of the aircraft on the ground before and after the flight. Take off and landing can be viewed from the terminal café/restaurant, or from various points outside of the fenced areas.

WEATHER:

This experience is weather dependant. In the event of poor weather conditions the flight will be rescheduled.
