Tandem Skydive Byron Bay at 14,000 Feet

For the whole of your Bryon Bay tandem skydive our professional Tandem-Masters will be responsible for all the equipment activation and control of the parachute. You simply smile and enjoy the adrenalin rush of freefall as you travel back to earth! Take in those spectacular Byron Bay views as you fly under canopy back to our drop-zone.

The ORIGINAL and only complete Skydiving Centre in Byron Bay, our Drop-zone has been operating for over 20 years. Byron Bay has always been a wonderful skydiving destination with superb beaches and subtropical countryside. The panoramic views are simply breathtaking. Our instructors are accredited by the Australian Parachute Federation (the governing body of skydiving within Australia) and each have thousands of skydives to their credit. When you arrive at the drop zone you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will take you through some paperwork before meeting your experienced tandem skydive instructor. Your instructor will fit you with our free fly skydive pants and latest technology harness and take you through your skydive training (approximately a 20 minute safety briefing).

Then climb aboard the plane for your flight over Byron Bay taking in the breathtaking views of the coast and mountain ranges until you reach 14,000 feet. You and up to 17 other skydivers will feel the excitement grow... then the door of the plane will open and your awesome skydiving experience comes to its climax. Exit the plane, freefall at approximaely 220km/hr until your canopy opens and you gently float back to earth to receive your signed certificate from your skydiving instructor..

HOW LONG IS FREE FALL

RESTRICTIONS Minimum age for tandem skydiving is 14 years. People under the age of 18 years must have parent or guardian’s consent and be accompanied throughout briefing by a parent or guardian. You need to be a generally healthy human being with an average fitness level. 100kg - 110kg need to be assessed on the day by our drop zone safety officer

WEATHER

Tandem skydiving can be affected by weather conditions. We cannot jump in strong winds or through cloud. If the weather is a problem at the time of your tandem skydive then we will delay your jump or reschedule it for a later date.

ON THE DAY

You should allow half a day for your tandem skydive. It generally does not take this long, but sometimes we get put on hold by air traffic control or the weather. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset, all year round. Each person will have their own instructor for the whole experience and will receive one on one training for the jump.
