This is a unique opportunity to participate as crew on a real America’s Cup yacht.
Take the helm, trim the sails, work on the
grinders or simply sit back and enjoy the ride as you soak up the
atmosphere and sights of spectacular Sydney Harbour.
The America’s Cup is the world’s oldest and
most prestigious sporting trophy and ultimate yachting regatta. Usually
the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachtsmen, AUS21 and

Australia was the first country to break the
American hold on this famous old trophy in 1983, a 132 year winning
streak that dated back to 1851.

Conditions
Like many recreational activities sailing carries with it certain risks. In
certain weather conditions the crew may make decisions to vary the
usual sailing program, including the choice of sails used and the route taken,
to ensure the maximum safety of all guests. The sailing will only be postponed
if weather conditions are deemed to be unsafe on the day. Unfortunately this
decision cannot always be made in time to contact all guests in advance.
Other information An age restriction of 12 years + applies. Please wear non-marking,
soft-soled shoes. It's also a good idea to bring a jumper or jacket, sunscreen
and sunglasses.
There will be a crew of 4 professional yachtsmen on board. 'Spirit' requires
a minimum of 12 guests to operate and we can take up to 30 guests. Unfortunately the yachts are not wheelchair accessible.
