This is a half day tour to swim, snorkel and photograph the Australian Sea Lion! Set off on an unforgettable underwater adventure here in beautiful Port Lincoln. Relax on our comfortable fully enclosed vessel on your 1.5 hour journey.
During your Swim with the Sea Lion tour you will take in the beautiful scenery as you cruise through Boston Bay and Thorny Passage. Upon arrival watch the Sea Lions as they bound out to the boat with excitement to begin their awaited performance. These inquisitive sea mammals will engage you in their underwater production. Somersaults, back flips, and graceful swirls will fascinate and amaze you!

The water is a safe 2m in depth and all swimmers feel comfortable in the clear water with sand below.

Location: Port Lincoln, South Australia, a six hour drive or a 40 minute flight from Adelaide.
Tour Length: This tour is available seven days a week, weather depending, and providing that minimum numbers are met – you may have to wait for a date on which this can happen. We depart at 8.00am and return at 12.30pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability.
Numbers: We operate with a minimum of five and a maximum of 18 people per group. Private groups can be organised upon request with a maximum of 21 people.

Note: To swim with the Sea Lions you MUST have basic swimming skills and be a confident ocean swimmer. We only swim off the back of the boat and do not set foot on the Island as it is a natural reserve. When you first enter the water it is 2m deep, however if you swim 50m you can actually stand. Please keep this in mind when making your booking
Sea Lion tours do not operate in winter – June through to August.
