| With school holidays fast approaching, get your kids started in the sport of surfing with Central Coast's Surf School's School Holidays Learn-to-Surf Packages. These surfing lessons are designed to teach beginners the easiest and safest techniques for stand up surfing.
The School Holidays Surfing Lessons consists of 2-day, 3-day or 4-day courses operating at either Umina, Avoca and Terrigal beaches. Lesson times are 90 minutes per lesson.
Located just 60 minutes from either Sydney or Newcastle, the Central Coast offers an amazing backdrop for your surfing lesson, providing some of the nicest, family-friendly beaches anywhere NSW to learn to surf.
Meeting point information will be provided by the operator. A number of beaches are used, depending on the weather conditions of the day. The beaches used are Urmina/Ocean Breach (a protected bay that rarely gets large swells and offers the most ideal conditions for learning to surf. Avoca Beach, a more open beach that can all but guarantee waves 365 days a year, and Terrigal Beach, another open beach which regularly offers ideal learning conditions.

Session Length & Times: 90 minute surfing lessons within a group with an instructor. Lesson times vary according to tides. Choose from 2-day, 3-day and 4-day courses.
