Skydive Mission Beach uses the safest and most reliable skydiving plane in the world. This large aircraft ensures not only a comfortable scenic flight over Mission Beach as you climb to 14000ft but gives you plenty of room for your friends and family to share an experience you will never forget.
Tandem skydiving is a safe and exhilarating way to enter the world of free fall. Our professional tandem masters are responsible for all the equipment activation and control of the parachute. You simply smile and enjoy the adrenalin rush of free fall as you travel at 120mph back to earth!
Take in those spectacular views of Mission Beach & Cairns hinterland as you fly under canopy for 5 to 7 minutes.
Our facilities include a viewing deck, BBQ area, Cinema, pool table and games room, free internet and plenty of skydiving action to keep everyone entertained.

HOW LONG IS FREE FALL
The amount of time you spend in freefall will depend on what altitude you decide to skydive from. 14,000 feet approximately 60 seconds freefall
RESTRICTIONS
Minimum age for tandem skydiving is 14 years. People under the age of 18 years must have parent or guardian’s consent and be accompanied throughout briefing by a parent or guardian. You need to be a generally healthy human being with an average fitness level. 100kg - 110kg need
to be assessed on the day by our drop zone safety officer
WEATHER
Tandem skydiving can be affected by weather conditions. We cannot jump in strong winds or through cloud. If the weather is a problem at the time of your tandem skydive then we will delay your jump or reschedule it for a later date.
ON THE DAY
You should allow half a day for your tandem skydive. It generally does not take this long, but sometimes we get put on hold by air traffic control or the weather. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset, all year round. Each person will have their own instructor for the whole experience and will receive one on one training for the jump.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING?
Comfortable casual clothes, shorts in summer and jeans or tracksuit pants in winter. We will provide you with a pair of skydiving pants to wear over your clothes. You may also want to bring a long sleeve t-shirt or sweatshirt. Closed in shoes are a must, sneakers or runners that lace up firmly are preferable (no hooks).
