| The L-39 Tactical Fighter Mission will involve you in a guided tour of the L-39
Jet Fighter, full mission flight and safety briefing, 40 minutes in the aircraft
with 20 minutes airborne!
In full flight suit and helmet you'll climb aboard your Fighter Jet. Your pilot
will help you strap in and involve you in the final brief. You'll be guided
through the start procedures - feel the awe of jet spool up. Complete the checklist
and taxi for takeoff. Then 4000 pounds of jet thrust will launch you into the
atmosphere. With speeds of up to 910 km per hour the L-39 is the sleekest and
most modern jet fighter conducting adventure flights in Australia.
Your L-39 Tactical Fighter Mission will begin with the raw thrill of the aerobatic manoeuvres used in almost every airshow routine conducted by demonstration pilots around the world like the four point hesitation roll, the barrel roll and the lazy eight plus a lot more if you dare. Completely adjustable throughout your flight, so see how far you can go. Plus some tried and proven fighter tactical manoeuvres still used by the RAAF’s Top Gun fighter pilots such as the ‘Split S’ and the ‘Derry Turn’ ending with a high speed low level dash to ‘Home plate’ [Hunter Valley airfield]. Allow 2 hours for the whole Mission experience.
