Hunter Valley Tandem Skydive at 14,000 ft

There's more to the Hunter Valley than just wineries! Its time to experience the ultimate adrenalin rush with a tandem skydive above the Hunter Valley, from an altitude of 14,000 feet. Thats the highest altitude allowed in Australia for a tandem skydive – no experience is necessary and almost anyone can do it!.

Thats a 60 second freefall and a 5 minuite canopy ride back to Elderslie in the Hunter Valley.

Whether it's your first time (or your fifth) tandem skydiving is the ideal way to experience the ultimate thrill of freefall.

What does the tandem skydive involve? After check-in, gear up and your safety briefing, you will board one of our speedy aircraft for your flight to height! The scenic ride to jump altitude takes in views of the Hunter Valley and its vineyards. Once the lights go green it's jump time….securely attached to a professional tandem instructor, you exit the plane for 60 seconds of life-changing freefall.

Now its time to smile, scream, wave, and take in the spectacular views around you and of the beach below.

Your instructor will release your tandem parachute at a certain height after which you'll soar for approximately 5 minutes before your instructor brings you in to land. From then on you will wear the “skydive grin” as you attempt to tell to friends and family how you conquered the skies.

Beat your fears, push your personal boundaries and step outside your comfort zone, once you’ve taken the plunge you will feel like you can achieve anything.

LOCATION:

Meet at our dropzone at Elderslie near Branxton.

FITNESS:

• No particular level of fitness is required
• People with heart conditions or epilepsy cannot jump
• You must not be pregnant
• No experience is required – training is part of the jump
• Minimum age is 14 years or over (14–18 years requires parent/guardian consent)
• You cannot have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the 8 hours preceding your skydive
• For safety reasons, we need to be advised if you weigh greater than 95kg. Every customer is weighed as part of the check in procedure, surcharges will occur and are payable on the day at the rate $50 if over 95kg and $75 if over 105kg. All persons over 110kg can jump only subject to assessment by a tandem instructor

WHAT TO WEAR:

• Wear comfortable clothing suitable to the weather
• Runners or trainers are a must. Please, no chunky boots or shoes with hook style laces

WHAT IS SUPPLIED:

• Professional Tandem Master
• Briefing and instruction
• All equipment
• Comfortable goggles designed to wear over prescription glasses

WEATHER:

Skydiving is a weather-dependent activity. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions skydives will be re-booked to another time or day to suit you.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Spectators are more than welcome to witness your jump from the drop zone. DVD and photo packages are available for purchase on the day.
