Visit the Munda Biddi Trail WA
A Trail of a Different Nature
The Munda Biddi Trail (which means path through the forest in the local Nyoongar language) is Western Australias only long distance off-road cycle trail. Beginning in the hills above Perth, the trail meanders south through the Darling Scarp, along scenic river valleys and through magnificent eucalypt forests. Once complete, the trail will take you on a 900-kilometre journey to Albany on the southern coast.
Leave the Roads Behind
Forget the worry about car traffic on the dirt trail and enjoy the scenery as you cycle through nature in safety. The Munda Biddi is made up of bush tracks, firebreaks and old railway formations so most of your trip will be on gentle grades although there are a few challenging sections as the trail enters and exits the river valleys.
Be Part of the Natural Cycle
Encounter wildlife and plants not found anywhere else in the world. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the bush as the wonders of the Western Australian landscape are revealed around every corner. Savour the sounds and scents of the bush as your bike takes you on the cycle of a lifetime.
Bike the Way you Like
From families to experienced cycle tourists, the Munda Biddi is for everyone. Try a few kilometres or pack your panniers and head off for a few days camping in the bush. The trail passes through a town at least every second day so you can refresh yourself and replenish supplies, or grab a hot shower and soft bed.
