Visit Brampton Island Qld

Sitting at the southern entrance of the Whitsunday Passage, Brampton Island is a blue water, white sand tropical island haven.

Some of the watersports on Lindaman Island include sailing, surfskiing and windsurfing.Almost entirely National Park, Brampton has seven glorious beaches and its own coral reef.

Nestled amidst lush landscaped gardens, Brampton Island Resort is an intimate 106 room resort overlooking the Cumberland Group of Islands. There are stunning salt-water and fresh-water pools to laze by, entertainment and a host of land and water based activities - most included in the tariff.

Brampton Island has an abundance of native bush and wildlife, including kangaroos.

Some of the watersports on Lindaman Island include sailing, surfskiing and windsurfing.Explore the island on a leisurely bushwalk through the National Park. Snorkelling safaris exploring Brampton's coral gardens are one of the many ways to enjoy the remarkable blue waters of the Whitsundays and guests can also sail a catamaran, take out a paddle ski or simply laze in a beachside hammock and savour the tropical setting.

Sunrise at Mount Oldfield - view east to Maher and Shaw Islands Lindeman Island.Lindeman Island is promoted as the warmest island in the Whitsundays, and although no-one is claiming much change in the temperature the international atmosphere certainly rubs off. Situated in 690 hectares of National Park, Lindeman offers sophisticated living and entertainment for adults.

Covered by nearly 20 kilometres of bushwalking tracks, beautifully maintained, take you to the most scenic parts of the island. Stroll through Butterfly Valley or climb Mount Oldfield which is 212 metres above sea level and offers 360 degree views of Pentecost, Hamilton and Whitsunday Islands.

Some of the watersports on Lindaman Island include sailing, surfskiing and windsurfing.The Island has seven glorious beaches with Gap Beach a fantastic location for snorkelling and oystering.

Humpback whales can often be seen from the shore, a sight not to be forgotten. Dolphins are also frequent visitors. On Lindeman, golden orchids grow on the mangroves at the end of the beach and over 90 species of birds dart through the trees.

There are a number of tiny islands dotted around Lindeman all a short dinghy ride away and perfect for a day of personal paradise.

Lindeman also has its own airstrip.

Lindeman Island combines natural beauty with sophistication and style for a truly memorable holiday experience.
