What to Bring?
Hat, sunscreen, sunnies, water bottle, towel, swimming costume, change of clothes, booties/waterproof sandals, waterproof bag and thermals/wind jacket are recommended on chilly days and during winter months.
What days can we hire a kayak?
Kayak hire is available Wednesday to Sunday, between sunrise and sunset, excluding Christmas Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Your kayak hire is for four hours.
I have never kayaked before. Is this a problem?
No – just as long as you can swim and in reasonably fit condition then kayaking shouldn’t be a problem. You may also like to book into on of our Learn to Kayak Sessions where you will learn basic kayaking techniques and kayaking safety.
Will I be provided with a safety vest?
Yes! It is a condition of hire that you wear the vest at all times whilst on the water.
Other Info
You will be required to sign a waiver on the day, prior to participating in this experience. We provide waterproof containers so you can bring your camera and it won’t get wet! Maps are provided.
