Half Day Abseiling Course (Vic)

From your pick up in Melbourne its a picturesque drive to Warrandyte, a historic gold mining town located in outer Melbourne. This is our location for the abseiling course. After providing you with a safety briefing we will teach you to 'harness up' and go to the site for instruction in abseiling, rock climbing and belaying techniques.

Even if this is your first time abseiling or you are an intermediate, we guarantee you won't be disappointed. And if you are more experienced and want more of a challenge, we can find a site that will test you and your level of ability.

During the session we'll stop for some afternoon tea and there will also be time for you to explore the scenic Yarra River or visit the interesting shops of historic gold town of Warrandyte before returning to Melbourne by approximately 5.15pm. This is a great way to spend an afternoon so close to Melbourne.

Location: Our abseiling site is located at Warrandyte, 40 minutes from Melbourne. We can arrange pick up or meet you at the venue.

Whats Included? Transport from Melbourne, afternoon tea, professional abseiling guides, all climbing & safety gear including ropes, harnesses, helmets, and belay devices.

What to wear: This activity requires an average fitness level. Please bring a pair of comfortable shoes, runners or hiking boots are ideal.

Age Restrictions: This activity is suitable for anyone over the age of 11, with children under the age of 16 being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Duration: The Abseiling Half Day course beginners when we collect you at 1pm from the city. We will commence the abseiling at approximately 1:45pm and finish at 3pm, returning to Melbourne by 5.15pm.

We need a minimum group size 4 participants to run this experience.
