The Mark Webber Pure Tasmania Challenge (MWPTC) is a gruelling physical and mental adventure race in aid of charity, held in Tasmania - Australia’s adventure capital.
Competitors will kayak, trek and ride their way through some of Tasmania’s most beautiful and remote wilderness areas. Follow some of the world’s toughest athletes as they battle it out with corporate teams in this test of endurance, commitment and grit determination.
This is a scenic one-day multisport race for individuals or relay teams. 38k MTB, 26k paddle, 25k run from Khancoban to Corryong.
The Urban Max is part adventure race, part scavenger hunt with a mix of the amazing race. It is a completely new format of racing that will take teams of two through the heart of the host city. Competitors will get to visit some of the cities most famous landmarks, as well as suburban areas, while completing a variety of activities along the way.
If you have done a couple of sprint races, rogaines or half Ironmans and are looking for the next challenge, then this is the event for you! There will be up to 10 different legs to each race. This will ensure your are constantly challenged throughout the event and never bored, taking between 12 to 24 hours to complete.
If you are new to adventure racing or just fed up with the same old training routine, then this is a great event to start with. The races are designed to be fast and furious with teams having to change between disciplines several times during the event.
Paddy Pallin has joined with AROC Sport to bring you the best in adventure racing. Building upon the AROC Sport Adventure Series, this new set of races ensures there is something for everyone from the true novice to the advanced and experienced adventure racer.
Australia’s most exciting urban adventure - don’t miss it! Complete as much or as little of the course as you want! Use your 12 hours to get as many checkpoints as possible and aim for a high point score or chill out in the coffee shop along the way.
The Bribie Island Multisport sees competitors race for close to 100 kms through Bribie Island, Pumistone Passage and the Glass House Mountains Forests of Queensland.
