Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race is Australia’s ultimate endurance challenge of sailing and running in a non-stop challenge.
The Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race is a four day non-stop 335 nautical mile sailing race around Tasmania’s East Coast with teams of two runners going ashore for 133kms of running scaling three rugged mountain peaks.
Australia’s ultimate endurance challenge of sailing and running in a non-stop challenge. The Three Peaks Race commences at Beauty Point on the Tamar River just north of Launceston and finishes in Hobart on the Derwent River. En-route, teams have to scale Mt Strzelecki, Mt Freycinet and Mt Wellington.
The 2008 Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race conducted by the Port Dalrymple Yacht Club will start at Beauty Point, Tasmania at 2pm, Good Friday, 21st March 2008.
