Bribie Island Multisport

bribie_0.jpgThe Bribie Island Multisport sees competitors race for close to 100 kms through Bribie Island, Pumistone Passage and the Glass House Mountains Forests of Queensland.

The course is broken into 9 stages and sees relay teams and individuals complete up to 50km of mountain biking, 22km of running, 23km of paddling and 1.6 km of swimming.

The race is a true multi-sport endurance event with top teams finishing in 6 hours and individuals in 6 and a half. Tail enders do not miss out as the course remains open for 12 hours, enabling most to to make their way across the finish line.

Entries for 2008 will open in January. The event attracts many of Australia’s top multisport athletes as well as lots of new comers to the sport.

Cash prizes and lots of goodies are up for grabs. Competitors may enter as individuals or as a relay team of 2, 4 or 5+
