Ay-Up Dusk to Dawn 12 Hour
| March 1, 2008 7:00 pm | to | March 2, 2008 7:00 am |
Ay-Up Dusk to Dawn 12 Hour. Everyone can take part in the challenge from beginner through to the competitive rider. The aim is to complete as many laps in a 12 hour period as you can either as a solo rider or in a team of friends or work-mates. You can do one lap then change over to your next rider or do several before changing over to your next rider. It is up to you and your team. You can go as hard and fast as you like or take it at a slow relaxed pace and stop and start as often as you like. It’s all up to you.
The course is designed to suit all riders skill levels, not too hilly or technical but there will be some sections where there is two ways you can go, the easy way (usually the lower trail) or for the experienced rider something a bit more technical.
We have a fantastic venue for our race set in bush-land surround the Kooralbyn Hotel Resort. You have the best of both worlds - a great course and tracks with the added option of taking advantage of the Resort Style facilities.
Camp in the Riders staging Pit Area in a large mowed area right next to the course where you can be part of the action and watch your team mates finish their lap. (camping is only allowed from Saturday till Sunday morning) while the event is on. So bring your marquees, chairs & everything you need to keep you comfy.
When: 1st-2nd March, 7pm Saturday - 7am Sunday morning
Where: Kooralbyn Hotel Resort, Kooralbyn. QLD
