After successful events in Melbourne and Brisbane, the popular Weight Watchers Urban Max is returning to Sydney on a grand scale with entries already over 40% full. Starting from Darling Harbour, up to 300 teams will compete in the biggest urban adventure of the year with over $6000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Join the Party

Competitors are urged to bring along family and friends to join in the festivities at the end of race party. For a $2 donation to our charity partner Mission Australia, all non-competitors will receive a meal and beer from our sponsors Weight Watchers and Hahn Super Dry. Other activities will include product displays, a jumping castle, music and a charity auction. Members from the public are also invited to support the teams as they cross the finish line. What is the Weight Watchers Urban Max?
The Urban Max is Australia’s own amazing race with events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Teams of two (male, female and mixed) are given the opportunity to experience the city’s urban landmarks in an action packed adventure lasting between 3 to 6 hours. Speed is not necessarily the deciding factor in this race with a strong emphasis on route selection and problem solving skills.

Armed with a map and clue sheet, teams have to navigate their way around the host city to locate and complete a variety of tasks and challenges. Some challenges will be physical, while others will test knowledge, teamwork, resourcefulness and the ability to make decisions on the fly. Expect a roller coaster ride through the heart of the city!

Teams are only allowed to travel by foot or use public transport. All ages, skill and fitness levels are welcome. If you can think outside the box, know your way around the city and want to have some fun with friends or family .. the Urban Max is for YOU!

Teams consist of two people in male, female and mixed teams. There is also a choice to compete in either a ‘Social’ category, or a more competitive ‘Racing’ category. Be part of the action, get your entry in today!
