NSW Big Ride 2007 – “Tour de Mid North Coast”

March 17, 2007toMarch 25, 2007

The 2007 NSW Big Bike Ride will be like nothing you have ever done before! For the first time the event will start and finish in Taree on the NSW north coast. This is a bike ride over nine days visiting eight towns, covering 500kms of forest and coastal riding.

It’s like Bicycle NSW has put together a selection of the very best of past big rides as well as several new pieces of undiscovered country roads to ride.

The 2007 Big Ride begins in Taree and heads south to Forster Tuncurry, then on to Bullahdelah, Gloucester, and Wingham where you rest up for a day. Then its onto Wauchope, Port Macquarie and back to Taree through Coopernook Forest which will give riders some of the most magical pieces of forest riding available in NSW.

All of the usual delightful campsite services will be available: Café big – a licensed café which includes live entertainment, BNSW general store, the Information and Tourism tent, onsite catering with freshly prepared on site meals created by a team of fabulous chefs and of course at the end of an exhilarating day the massage crew will be there to revive you.

“Deluxe camping” options have been extended this year to include “tent hotel” and there is a choice of 3.5 and 4 star motels for rest day accommodation packages.
