One of world’s longest annual canoe races, the Murray Marathon covers a distance of 404km in five days, taking paddlers from Yarrawonga through to Swan Hill in Victoria, Australia.

The inaugural Keen Adventure Race on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, will be held from 13-17 March, 2007. The course traverses the length of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria’s South West, starting at Bay Of Islands and finishing at Torquay.

The 2007 NSW Big Bike Ride will be like nothing you have ever done before! For the first time the event will start and finish in Taree on the NSW north coast. This is a bike ride over nine days visiting eight towns, covering 500kms of forest and coastal riding.
1100 mountain bikers were up for a Fling and enjoyed warm and generally cloudy conditions for the second running of the VAUDE Highland Fling MTB Marathon in the Southern Highlands of NSW last weekend.
This event sees the world’s premier one design keelboat racing yachts sailed in the superb sailing waters off Fremantle Western Australia. The exciting Audi Etchells Worlds will offer spectacular sailing action from the 80-strong fleet of world-class Etchells.
4WD enthusiasts in particular will be impressed with Banksia Camp. This new camp located in the D’Entrecasteaux National Park, 25km west of Walpole offers access to pristine nature at its best. Towering forests, stunning beaches and excellent fishing are on offer. Access to the camp, which features tent sites, ablution facilities and camp hut, is by four wheel drive. The hut includes four separate bunk rooms, kitchen, communal area and shower room to hang your portable shower.
After notching an impressive third at last weekend’s LG Actions Sports Inline Vert Championship in Texas, Australian pro inline skater Shane Yost has clinched his world number three ranking and next month heads to sun laden Western Australia to make his debut at the 2006 Gravity Games H2o, presented by Vodafone.
