Duo Plan Kayaking Adventure to New Zealand

Kayak Fishing – An Old Man and The Sea Moment

The paddle from our launching site at Yokohama Bay to Kaena Point, where we usually turn around and start the return leg, is about two hours. On this day the waters were calm, the sun was hot, and the fish weren’t biting in the least. It was the kind of day that one gets lulled to the brink of sleep due to a complete lack of activity combined with the kayak’s gentle roll from side to side with each stroke of the paddle.

Sydneysiders jump into history with highest BASE jump

NZ disabled climber Mark Inglis upset over Everest criticism

New Zealand mountaineer Mark Inglis, who last month became the first double amputee to climb Mount Everest, believes he was wrongly condemned for leaving another climber to die on the mountain. The other climber, Englishman David Sharp, apparently reached the summit but died after getting into difficulty on the way down. It was reported that several parties, including that of Inglis, passed him.

Whale Watching along the NSW Coast during Winter

It’s almost winter on the east coast of Australia and with the cooler weather arriving, another visitor to the coastal waters is also now making their presence felt Every year, at this time, Humpback whales can be seen travelling up the New South Wales coast on their way to the Great Barrier Reef in time for their breading season. In fact Humpback whales will be making there way north throughout June and early July.
