Your Empress Falls Canyoning day in the Blue Mountains is designed to give you the necessary abseiling skills for beginners wanting to try abseiling and canyoning... and get a little wet! You will spend the morning learning how to abseil at Katoomba. This half day beginners course is the ideal skills base for canyoning. Start with abseils up to 30 metres, then put your new skills to the test in the afternoon. Jump, swim and wade your way through an action packed canyon, finishing with a 30 metre abseil down a pumping waterfall.

This is a fantastic introduction to canyoning. You will learn the fundamentals of abseiling in the morning with a range of abseils from 3 to 30 metres in height. It's easy to see why this trip is so popular. Comprising a combined abseiling course and canyon trip, you will learn all the essential skills to tackle more difficult canyons such as Yileen and Hole in the Wall. After a delicious and wholesome picnic lunch you put your newly acquired skills to use in the exciting and action-packed Empress Falls Canyon. Scrambling, wading, swimming and jumping leads to a thrilling climax – a 30 metre abseil straight down a pounding waterfall into a deep pool. The easy walk out is on a well formed track with magnificent views of the Jamison Valley

Safety is our number one focus so you will be under the supervision of our professional canyoning guides at all times. This full day canyonning experience is suitable for children over 10 years.
